Over the past several months, Dish Network customers have been on the losing end of a battle between Dish Network and AMC. Dish Network dropped AMC from its programming lineup in July which caused customers to miss episodes of popular shows such as Breaking Bad and the season 3 premier of The Walking Dead. Today, Dish Network and Voom HD (AMC) announced a settlement which will bring AMC programming back to Dish Network immediately.
The settlement requires Dish Network to pay $700 million for spectrum licenses that cover more than 150 million people. Other AMC Networks channels such as Sundance Channel, IFC and We tv will return to Dish Network on November 1.
