Those thinking about getting a BlackBerry 10 may be happy to learn that RIM has announced an official music partner. In short, those choosing to go the BlackBerry 10 route will be greeted with the 7digital music store.

“7digital, the leading digital music technology company, today announced that 7digital will be working with Research In Motion as the official music download provider for the BlackBerry 10 smartphones being released in Q1 2013.”

The 7digital music store will offer the ability to browse, preview and purchase any of the 22 million tracks. Further details note that the 7digital music store will offer new releases as well as regional selections including independent artists and a full back catalog.

The music store will be available for those in the US and UK as well as Australia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa. Finally, those with a BlackBerry PlayBook in-hand, the 7digital music store will seem familiar as that is what is already on your tablet.
