Apple is selling the 3rd generation iPad (refurbished) from $379

Sure, Apple may have announced the fourth-generation iPad yesterday, however that does not mean that the third-generation is a bad device. It may not be as nice as the fourth-generation, however when you factor in that you can now get a nicely discounted third-generation — the smart purchase may be on the slightly older tech. Yes, we are suggesting you buy a device that is not brand new. More to the point — we are suggesting you buy a refurbished device.

Anyway, getting to the point here. Apple has some third-generation iPad models available. They are refurbished and priced from $379. And nicely done, they have a wide variety of them available. Models in both black and white, with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of storage, some that are Wi-Fi only, some for AT&T and even some for Verizon Wireless.

Finally, for those worried about buying refurbished, these models all include a brand new battery and outer shell and they all come with a 1-year warranty. Finally, for those thinking that I am suggesting a route that I would not take myself — my current notebook, a MacBook Air was purchased as a refurbished device.
