We’re just full of T-Mobile news today aren’t we? The latest announcement to come from the company involves a new partnership with Lookout. T-Mobile will preload Lookout’s Automatic App Security will ship on the LG Optimus L9 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 this year. In 2013, most of T-Mobile’s Android devices will come preloaded with this software.

Lookout already provides a free app in Google Play that protects users against malicious downloads, but Automatic App Security will work out of the box. T-Mobile customers won’t have to go through any steps to set up the software. As its name suggests, every app will undergo a safety check by Lookout as soon as it’s downloaded. Lookout will also perform a scan every week for safe measure.

If you already use Lookout for your mobile security needs, this partnership won’t have any effect on you. There are some customers that may groan at the though of more carrier bloatware on their new devices. Fortunately  AllThingsD is reporting the software can be uninstalled.

Google is also expected to reveal its own anti-malware software during its Android event next week.
