Sony brings the waterproof Xperia Go to Canada in November

Sony Mobile has just announced the upcoming availability of its ruggedized and waterproof smartphone, the Xperia Go in Canada by next month. Previously released in Europe and the US where it was known as the Xperia Advance, Sony is bringing this handset for Canadian consumers to partake of and enjoy its features. This handset will fit those of you who are looking for durable and water-resistant smartphone without looking too rugged. According to Sony, the Xperia Go is the company’s most durable, water-resistant smartphone released so far. It has scratch resistant mineral glass display and has passed IP67 ratings for protection against dust and water immersion between 15cm and 1m for 30 minutes. Aside from being a tough device, the Sony Xperia Go also features a 3.5-inch reality display powered by Mobile BRAVIA engine, 5MP camera, 1GHz dual core processor and Android 4.0 ICS for its OS. The Xperia Go will be available in black and white and will be distributed by Canada’s FIDO. It will also be distributed through Sony Stores in Canada.
