Still rocking with Foursquare and happen to be doing so on an Android device? Well, if that happens to be the case you may want to fire up the Play store and grab this latest update. Yup, Foursquare for Android has been updated. This update brings the app up to version 2012.10.24 where it maintains support for devices running Android 2.1 or later. Perhaps more important though — the changes. The update has brought what Foursquare describes as design tweaks and performance updates. The app also has some improvements in terms of sharing your check-ins on other social services.

“Say hello to a shiny new check-in screen! We’ve made it easier to mention your Foursquare friends in your check-in, and to share your check-ins on Facebook and Twitter (just slide the toggles to the right of the text box). We’ve also made design tweaks and a bunch of performance updates to make the whole app faster. Enjoy!”
