The folks at Squarespace have recently launched an app for the iPhone. But before anyone thinks this is another Squarespace blogging account app, keep reading. This latest app is called Squarespace Note and it in fact — does not require you to even have a Squarespace account.

The app is simple and to the point. You launch it, write a note and then send that note. The options for sending the note include email, Dropbox, Twitter, Facebook, Evernote and of course, Squarespace. The app is free to download and also free to use. You will beed to be running iOS 5.0 or later though. Otherwise, Squarespace Note offers an “unbranded, black and white feel” that launches with a new blank note screen each time. And just in case you were worried, any notes that have sent will be stored in the app and can be viewed at a later time.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a simple and easy to use note taking app, you may want to check out Squarespace Note. After all, it is free so you really have nothing to lose.
