Following up on the rumors, Google has officially announced the Nexus 10 tablet. Much of what we had previously seen about this device rings true. And just to start, the Nexus 10 has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and at 330ppi. Google was quick to mention that the “Nexus 10 is the highest resolution tablet on the planet.” That aside though, the Nexus 10 also has a battery life of up to 9 hours for video playback and up to 500 hours on standby, front-facing stereo speakers and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Perhaps more important for some — the pricing and the availability. The 16GB model will sell for $399, and the 32GB model will sell for $499. Both will be available from Google Play beginning on November 13. And finally, the Nexus 10 will be available for those in the US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan.
