We had already known that Samsung was planning to launch the Galaxy Note 2 in Canada on October 30, however this fact was recently confirmed. The confirmation comes by way of the Samsung Mobile Canada Facebook page where they note the following;
“Today Samsung marks the official release of the GALAXY Note II, our latest premium Smartphone and the Next Big Thing in mobile communication devices.”
The Galaxy Note 2 will be available with a wide variety of carriers to include Bell, Mobilicity, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus, Videotron and WIND. The individual carrier pricing may vary a little bit, however the ballpark figure seems to be $200. The one catch with the availability — the in-store availability may be a bit slow. Samsung has said that they are “working hard to get inventory to all of our carrier and retail partners, however in-store availability will be scarce until we get our full supply to stores over the next two weeks.”
Simply put, if you are living in Canada and have been waiting for the Galaxy Note 2 to come available — you may want to place your order online. Well, that or make a call to check inventory before venturing out to your local carrier store.
