Twitter begins teasing a “great” Windows 8 app they are developing

It looks like Twitter is going to be releasing a Windows 8 app. Though on that note, the details otherwise are rather light. Twitter has stated that they thought Windows 8 needed a “great” Twitter app and that they were going to build it. So far this sounds good, after all, we have yet to see an official Twitter app for Windows. The one catch — when the app is expected to arrive. According to what we have seen, the folks at Twitter are “looking forward to sharing it with you in the months ahead.”
Seriously? In the months ahead? That sort of sounds like a long time to ask the users to wait.
