The Boxee TV was announced earlier in the month and at the time, it was said that it would be available beginning in November. Well, true to that word, the Boxee TV is going to be available in November. Or more specifically, the Boxee TV will be available beginning on November 1st.

Those looking to make a purchase can expect to shell out $98 and will have to venture into a Walmart. The details of the availability are coming by way of a recent report on Bloomberg who note that Walmart will have the Boxee TV available in more than 3,000 retail locations.

The Boxee TV, for those who missed the original announcement, is a small set-top box that will allow the user to watch over-the-air broadcast television as well as streaming content such as Netfix, Vudu, YouTube, Vimeo and Pandora. In addition, Boxee TV has DVR functionality. This is dubbed the No Limits DVR, which is priced at $14.99 per month and will initially be available for those in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

That being said, if you were interesting in picking up, or just checking out a Boxee TV, Walmart on November 1st is where you will need to be.
