A bit of potentially disappointing news for anyone that was planning to pick up an LG Nexus 4 with T-Mobile — the carrier will not have Wi-Fi Calling available on the device. The details come by way of TmoNews, who received word direct from the carrier. And while this may be a bummer for some, it sort of makes sense when you think of it. You see, this is a feature. More important, a feature that has to be implemented before-hand. And in this case, T-Mobile had no say in how the Nexus 4 was being built and therefor couldn’t ask for this feature to be included. Bottom line here, if you are a T-Mobile customer and rely on Wi-Fi Calling — the LG Nexus 4 is not going to be the device for you.
