Just in time for the release of the iPad mini, social networking app Path was just released in the App Store. We’re talking about the iPad version of the app since before this, the Path app was for meant more for the small screen real estate of the iPhone and iPod Touch. The new Path app for iPad was developed and tested to work with all generation of iPad including the iPad mini which if you ordered one will be just about the perfect device for checking or posting updates to Path when you’re on the move. Most of the features of the iPhone version of Path are pretty much the same. But one new feature that was added and which take full use of the iPad’s screen real estate is “Life in landscape.” This is the landscape view mode which when switched from the portrait mode transforms the app’s look and feel totally. When viewing your Path timeline in landscape mode, you can browse the most interesting moments of your Path account day by day. It displays check-ins, videos, movies, music, books, etc. from your friends. These and other features are included when viewing the app in landscape mode on your iPad. Path for iPad is available now from the App Store as a free download.
