If you had been considering the purchase of a Nook Tablet or a Nook Color — now seems like as good as any to make a purchase. Barnes & Noble has recently dropped the price on the Tablet and Color. The price cut includes the Nook Color as well as the 8GB and 16GB Nook Tablet. The pricing is as follows;

  • Nook Color $139, was $149
  • Nook Tablet 8GB $159, was $179
  • Nook Tablet 16GB $179, was $199

In short, the Nook Color was given a $10 price drop and the Nook Tablets were given a $20 price drop. If you remember back to August, that was the when the Nook Color dropped to $149 and the Nook tablet dropped to $199.

Finally, those prices are in effect everywhere the Nook Tablet and Nook Color readers are sold.
