According to the details provided, Apple sold 3 million iPads in 3 days time.
“Apple today announced it has sold three million iPads in just three days since the launch of its new iPad mini and fourth generation iPad.”
For those keeping track, this is double the previous first weekend milestone. The previous milestone was set back in March when Apple sold 1.5 million Wi-Fi only models sold for the third generation iPad. The one catch here, Apple did not break the numbers down into how many each device sold.
