Rhapsody for Android update brings a new look, updates to the player and more

Those rocking with Rhapsody on an Android device, you may want to fire up Google Play and grab this latest update. Yup, the Rhapsody app has been updated and it looks like quite a big has changed. Just to begin with, Rhapsody for Android has gotten a new home screen. Some of the goodies that come along with this include;

  • “Albums For You”- Personalized album recommendations based on the music you like
  • “Rhapsody Replay”- New feature that provides you your music right when you want it based on your music activity
  • “Featured Albums”- Featured albums from Rhapsody’s world class editorial staff

In addition, the player has been updated and a fly-out menu has been added. The player updates include full screen album art and the ability to swipe to skip, shuffle and repeat as well as enhancements to the queue. Finally, the fly-out menu, this means users will now have direct access to the main areas of the app from anywhere in the app.

Bottom line, Rhapsody users should fire up Google Play and download the update.
