While we have yet to hear anything official from Verizon Wireless, it is being reported that employee training for the Droid DNA has begun. The details are coming by way of the folks at Droid-Life and based off word from internal sources. Unfortunately, those same sources were unable to provide anything specific in terms of a possible release date. The one hint that was mentioned includes that the handset would be arriving “soon.” That thought aside, it is looking like the handset will indeed launch as the Droid DNA by HTC. We have already seen some of the features, which include a 5.0-inch HD display, Beats Audio, the HTC Sense user interface, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera. Bottom line, it looks like Verizon Wireless will soon be adding another phablet to the available device category. Of course, the Droid DNA will be joining the LG Intuition and the (announced but still unavailable) Galaxy Note 2.
