We recently mentioned that Kim Dotcom had come under fire from Gabon about the use of the Me.ga domain. But it seems that Dotcom also has some others after that name. A group operating under the name Omega (also under a Gabon domain) has taken over the domain and had been redirecting traffic. The Omega group, calling themselves the “true pirates, the true anarchists” have gone after Dotcom stating that;

“Kim Dotcom is only taking advantage of us all, he is a megalomaniac with lawyers here to take advantage of us all, the nobodies, the artists he wants to profit from.”

Of course, that was just the start, Omega went on to note that ““Kim Dotcom is not better nor worse than Universal. He himself is an industry, only here to pollute.” As to what Omega plans to do with the Me.ga domain — sell it to Dotcom’s enemies for “millions of dollars.”

Anyway, while we are not sure how this is going to play out, one thing seems certain, the story is getting really interesting to follow.
