Sprint has detailed the first software update for the Galaxy Note 2. The update, which will arrive as version L900VPALJC is currently rolling out in batches. In other words, you may or may not yet have the update available for your device at this time. Regardless though, you can rest assured in knowing that the update is coming. In terms of what you can expect to see, Sprint notes that it will bring the following;

  • GPS lock settings can be defaulted by corporate device administrators
  •

  • Emails go to Outbox when in no coverage area or airplane mode
  • Text message notification will beep while in a voice call
  • Multi Window View feature to run two apps on the screen at the same time

Anyway, the first three on that list sound nice enough, but we are thinking that more than a few will be excited about the fourth — the multi window view. That being the case, those who are anxious to get the update now, you can check by navigating to Menu -> Settings -> System Update -> Update Samsung Software -> Check now.
