AT&T and ASUS today have announced the upcoming availability of the VivoTab RT Windows tablet starting November 16. If it’s not obvious yet, this is one of the latest Windows 8 tablets to hit the US market. AT&T also said that they will be the only US carrier to offer this LTE capable Windows 8 tablet from Asus this holiday shopping season. To sweeten its deal on the ASUS VivoTab RT tablet, AT&T is even slashing off $100 from its published price tag of $499.99 — if you also purchase any Windows smartphone. Sounds like a great deal, right?
Now, to give you an idea on what to expect from the ASUS VivoTab RT Windows tablet, here are it’s major specs – NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 12-core graphics, 10.1-inch (1366 x 768) Super IPS+ display, 2MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and auto-focus, 1080p HD video recording, ASUS SonicMaster audio technology by Bang & Olufsen and an optional mobile dock which turns the tablet to an ultra-portable device with keyboard, multi-touch touchpad and USB port when docked in.
There you have it. Mark the date, folks. Check out AT&T in-stores and online on November 16 to avail of this deal.
