HTC Windows Phone 8x and Nokia Lumia 822 now available with Verizon Wireless

We had the announcement and the pre-order phase, and true to their word of coming available before Thanksgiving, Verizon Wireless has officially released the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the Nokia Lumia 822. The pricing and color options break down as follows;

  • HTC Windows Phone 8X: $199.99 on a two-year agreement and available in Blue, Red or Black (the red and black are exclusive colors for Verizon).
  • Nokia Lumia 822: $$99.99 on a two-year agreement. The 822 will be available in Black, White and Grey. The $99.99 price comes after a $50 mail-in rebate.

Otherwise, recent details from Verizon note that the red Windows Phone 8X and the grey Lumia 822 will only be available online.

Finally, as a recap, lets talk some specs. The HTC Windows Phone 8X features include a 4.3-inch 720p HD Super LCD 2 display with Corning Gorilla Glass, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 1800 mAh battery, Bluetooth 3.1, Beats Audio, a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and support for wireless charging (though the charging mat is sold separately).

The Nokia Lumia 822 features include a 4.3-inch (800 x 480) Nokia ClearBlack OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 1800 mAh battery, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Both handsets are running Windows Phone 8 and bring support for the Verizon 4G LTE network.
