Just yesterday we were commenting on the fact that the Nexus 7 with HSPA+ was shipping with an AT&T SIM card. And well, as of this morning — it looks like the device has officially sold out. The Google Play product listing simply notes that the tablet is sold out and mentions that they are out of inventory and suggest that you check back soon.
It is interesting to see that this took a bit longer with the cellular connected model, as opposed to the quick inventory issues with the Wi-Fi only models. Me personally, I prefer to have my tablets with built-in cellular connectivity, but it looks like the Wi-Fi only models may be the more popular option. I do have to wonder though, is that because people realize they use these more around the house where they have Wi-Fi, or because they do not want to pay the extra $50 bucks upfront in addition to another monthly expense for the data?
