Virgin Mobile today has announced availability of the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G. Available in Titanium and White, said handset can be had together with Virgin Mobile’s Beyond Talk unlimited data and messaging plans which start at $35 per month. The handset will cost you $369.99 off-contract. To refresh your memory about the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G, this device features a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen, 8MP rear camera, 2.0MP front-facing camera and a dual-core 1.2GHz Samsung Exynos processor which happens to be one of the fastest dual-core processors that ever came out in the smartphone market. It runs on Android 4.0 ICS (can be upgraded to Jelly Bean) and offers web browsing at 4G (WiMAX) speeds. The device also has mobile hotspot capability but you will need to pay additional $15 per month to use this. Although this handset may seem rather old especially since there’s already the Samsung Galaxy S III, it still is a pretty capable handset with decent specs and features that will suit your needs. And given it’s off-contract price, it seems like a pretty good deal.
