Twitter now lets users email tweets from the desktop site

Twitter is currently pushing out an update that will enable its users to email any tweet. The purpose of this new feature is to let non-Twitter users receive interesting tweets without signing up. Once this feature reaches you, emailing tweets can be done on Twitter’s desktop site from the same interface where the retweet and reply options reside. Twitter expects this update to reach everyone within the next few weeks or so.

If anything, this new feature will likely entice more people to sign up for Twitter. Once they see all the interesting things they’re missing out on, they’ll be compelled to join the masses.
