The Apollo music player app (from CyanogenMod) has landed in Google Play. The app is available as Apollo and Apollo+ with the former being ad-supported and free and the latter being $0.99 and with no ads. It was also noted that the Apollo+ app will get updates quicker. That aside though, Apollo is a music player app for Android smartphones. Note, for smartphones. A tablet optimized app was promised as coming soon. Otherwise, Apollo is touting a long list of features including the ability to mark songs as favorites, pin albums, artists and playlist shortcuts on your home screen, text and voice search, headset control support, lock screen widgets (for 4.2), gapless playback and more.
