Skype announces Gift Cards for those in the US

We recently saw Skype Gift Cards come available for those in the UK, and well, as of today they are available for those in the US. The Skype Gift Cards will be available in digital and physical form and will begin at $10. The cards are available online direct from Skype as well as on the Skype Facebook page. Those looking to get a physical card will be able to find them with select retailers including Microsoft Stores, Target and OfficeMax. And just to clarify, Skype-to-Skype calls were, and remain free. The cards will be good for those looking to call landline or mobile phones. Just remember though, if you are giving someone a Skype card with the hopes of getting a return call, a $10 Skype credit goes a VERY LONG way.
