Skype for Android has recently been updated to version 3.0. Or more specifically, this latest update brings the app up to version 3.0.0.6181. The app remains available for free and with support for devices running Android 2.1 or later. Perhaps a bit more important though, those using Skype for Android on a tablet will likely notice some changes. According to the folks at Skype, the app has been redesigned for tablets. And in addition to the new look for tablet users, Skype version 3.0 brings improvements to the audio quality, some bug fixes and the ability to sign in and also merge your Skype account with your Microsoft account.
