Samsung really knocked one out of the park with the Galaxy S3, the only Android smartphone capable of taking on Apple’s iPhones. S3’s superiority in the Android world is however already history, with LG and HTC now battling for the throne.
For now at least, because Sammy is already prepping “the next big thing” – the Galaxy S4. With nothing official known about the handheld, one might think that we’re in a total blur about Samsung’s future plans.
Wrong, because rumors are coming in flocks, painting an almost unbelievable picture for the S4. First off, let’s talk specs. According to “sources”, the super-phone will sport a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Excited already? How about if we tell you that the S4 might have a quad-core 2 GHz Exynos 5450 CPU, an 8-core GPU and 64 GB of storage under the hood, as well as a 13 MP camera slapped on its back?
February’s MWC could be the device’s first public showing, while May 2013 is the rumored ETA at this time. No words on pricing, but that’s probably for the best, allowing us to have the sweetest dreams.
