Gameloft holds special Thanksgiving sale, offers select Android and iOS games for just $0.99 a piece

Besides the sweet smell of roast turkey and the pesky family reunions, Thanksgiving is known for bringing something else to the table – special sales, which are usually at a peak on Black Friday, but most of the times go on way until New Year’s.

Kicking off the shopping season this year, Gameloft is slashing the prices on a bunch of uber-cool mobile games for both Android and iOS-powered devices. Five titles seem to be part of the promotion, though the list is far from final.

All of these are usually up for grabs for $6.99 a piece, so you can imagine just what kind of a crazy lucrative deal you’ll be making if you get them for the special price of $0.99. For now, you can only get The Amazing Spider Man, Backstab and N.O.V.A. 3 for Amazon’s Kindle Fires at 99 cents, but keep an eye on Google Play and iTunes over the next few hours.

Gangstar Rio: City of Saints and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard should get in on the fun soon enough on iOS and all Android devices, though N.O.V.A 3 could remain a Fire exclusive discounted game.
