With Black Friday less than 48 hours away, we all have to get our financial ducks in a row while retailers are doing everything possible to make their special sales heard. AT&T got undercut by Sprint and Verizon in revealing this week’s discounts, but is now trying to recover the lost ground by also pimping up its Cyber Monday deals.
Unfortunately, there’s not much to get excited about, especially this Friday, when only refurbished phones will be in the center of attention. Their identities are also yet to be unveiled, so moving on.
Saturday and Sunday will be seeing HTC Vivid and Samsung Rugby Smart’s prices dropping to $0.01 and $0.99 on contract. Better, but still not there yet. How about Monday? Well, that’s when things will be heating up a bit, though they’re still not going to be as hot as expected.
HTC’s high-end One X will go for $0.99 on Cyber Monday, as will a bunch of mid-rangers like Motorola’s Atrix HD, Samsung’s Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, Nokia’s Lumia 900 and Pantech’s Renue.
