Though Huawei’s been hard at work lately in promoting some juicy high-end Android and Windows Phone-based devices, the company is and will still remain known for a while for its mid-range budget-friendly offerings.
The latest such phone to get an official presentation is called the Ascend G330 and is scheduled to reach Great Britain sometime in December. For now, the only carrier to confirm this big boy’s launch is TalkTalk, but the price will be very hard to beat – free upfront with contract, plus £10 monthly installments.
The spec sheet is not quite as exciting, though you shouldn’t complain very much. After all, a dual-core 1 GHz CPU, Android 4.0 ICS, a 5 MP rear-facing camera and a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixels resolution display were not long ago standard features for high-end handhelds.
We can’t say the same thing about the 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of on-board storage or 1,500 mAh battery, but hey, you can’t have it all and pay so little.
