Love the whole “phablet” concept, but you’re not a fan of the rich 1080p display thing and you’re not ready to drop the premium Samsung is asking for the Galaxy Note 2 either? Well, you might find some consolation from LG and Verizon’s Intuition.
The 5-incher released only a couple of months back has just seen its price dropped to a pretty lucrative $99.99. You’ll have to go through Amazon Wireless and not Verizon’s online store to get the phone for 100 bucks, but that seems like a small sacrifice. Especially that the deal is most likely not a limited time only thing or a Black Friday/Cyber Monday kind of special offer.
Obviously, you’ll still be asked to pen a two-year Verizon contract, but the good news is both new and existing customers are eligible. You also get free two-day shipping, while the spec sheet includes a bunch of tasty treats, like a dual-core 1.5 GHz S3 CPU, a scratch-resistant 1024 x 768 pix res screen, 1 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, Android 4.0 ICS, an 8 MP cam and LTE.
