If you are looking for a decent pre-paid smartphone and happen to be unwilling and/or unable to spend much money, you may want to check the HTC One V with Virgin Mobile USA as the handset has recently been given a price cut. In fact, it has been given a $100 price cut which dropped the price down to just $49.99. And keep in mind, that is a pre-paid price. Otherwise, the Virgin Mobile service plans begin at $35 per month with 300 anytime minutes, unlimited messaging and unlimited data. As for the handset itself, the HTC One V has a 3.7-inch display, 1GHz processor, microSD card slot, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera. The One V also has Beats Audio and is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. All said and done, the One V is certainly not a high-end device, but for $50, it hardly seems like you can go wrong if you are working on a budget.
