It looks like Samsung has announced the Canadian availability of the Galaxy Camera. The camera will arrive on December 7 and unlike the US where it is locked down to one carrier, the Canadian version will be available with Black’s Photography and The Samsung Store with the latter being located in the Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, B.C.

The pricing has yet to be revealed, however we suspect it will fall somewhere close to the $500 price tag we have seen here in the US market. Otherwise, the Galaxy Camera is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, will be sporting 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and is available in glossy white.

Finally, as for some of the specs, Samsung touts the Galaxy Camera as having a 4.8-inch HD Super ClearTouch display, 21x super long zoom lens and a super-bright 16M BSI CMOS sensor as well as the ‘Smart Mode’ technology which brings a series of 15 default modes and settings that are said to be able to make “professional-looking photography easy for anyone to achieve.”
