Lenovo has officially begun taking orders for the IdeaPad S300 notebook. The S300 should begin shipping on December 6th and is priced from $479. And those reading this on Cyber Monday will have the chance to grab one for a little above $380. The notebook has a 13.3-inch (1366 x 768) HD display, is running Windows 8 and is available in either Silver Gray or Pink.
Aside from the Cyber Monday savings, the regular pricing is $479 for model with a 1.5GHz Intel Celeron 887 processor and Intel HD graphics or $599 for a model with a 3rd generation 1.8GHz Intel Core i3-3217U processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Other specs of the IdeaPad S300 include 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI-out and an integrated 720p HD webcam. In addition, the notebook measures in at 0.9 inches thick, weighs in at just under 4 pounds, has a full-sized keyboard, an “intelligent” touchpad and a battery that should last for up to five hours.
