Netflix for Android receives new features

Making a quick trip over to Google Play will reveal an update for the Netflix app. This update has optimized Netflix for devices running Android 4.2, and adds a few new features such as scrubbing with screen stills and larger buttons for volume control and navigation. Netflix looks pretty good on the Nexus 7, especially when the full screen option is turned on.

The main interface for selecting movies and TV shows hasn’t been changed. It’s still suffers from lag from time to time, but it still looks better than the old interface. There may be some bugs on some devices, but hopefully it’s nothing that makes the app unusable.
