Rdio iOS app update brings a unified player, new design and more

The Rdio app for iOS has recently been updated. The updated app is available by way of the iOS App Store when it remains available for free and as a universal with proper support for the iPhone and iPod touch as well as the iPad. This update brings the app up to version 2.0.0 and as one may have been hoping for — some new features. According to the what’s new section in the iOS App Store listing, the Rdio app has gotten a new design, a unified player and a remote control. Breaking each of these down a bit further and we have the following;

• New Design. A clean, white interface and sliding side navigation that’s accessible throughout the app.
• Unified Player. Sync your Queue and what you’re currently listening to across all your devices.
• Remote Control. Control Rdio apps on other devices.
