What could ever be better than an ultra-cheap 7-inch tablet with Android Jelly Bean? A JB-flavored 7-incher with 3G connectivity, of course. If you happen to agree with that and you’re residing in the UK, we have great news coming from Three.
The carrier has started selling the 3G version of the Nexus 7 today, once again redefining what we’ve come to think of as affordable. The tab can be had for a mere £49 upfront, though you will be asked to cough up an extra £19.99 monthly for at least two full years. In that price Three will throw in 5 GB of data each month, so all in all you can’t say you’re being ripped off.
We’re pretty sure you know what you’re signing up for with the Nexus 7, but if you need a refresher, here are some of its specs: Android 4.2, 7-inch IPS display with 1,280 x 800 pix res, quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage. De-li-cious!
