For those of you who occasionally do some photo editing on your mobile devices, particularly on your Nexus 7 or iPad Mini, Adobe’s Photoshop Touch should be one of the apps installed on your device. Especially now that Adobe has updated the app to version 1.4 for both its iOS and Android flavors. New to the app is the fact that it is now more tablet-friendly, specifically for 7-inch tablets. In version 1.4, Photoshop Touch for both Android and iOS brings in the following new features:
- Added support for three pressure-sensitive styli for iPad: the Pogo Connect, Jot Touch and the Jaja stylus
- New ways to share completed projects to Facebook and Twitter directly from the app
- Added effects including Lens Flare and Stamp Pattern
- New performance and workflow enhancement including smoother brush strokes and new color selection workflow
Take note however that Adobe Photoshop Touch comes a bit pricey if you compare it with other photo editing apps available for your Android or iOS device. If you don’t mind spending $10, go ahead and click any of the links below that will lead you to the app store where you can grab this app. Incidentally the app was also made available earlier for Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD.
