Microsoft has offered an update in terms of the Windows Phone 7.8 update. And unfortunately, it looks like those who are waiting still have some wait left. Microsoft stated that they expect to have the update rolling out in early 2013. Of course, the catch with that — they have to work with the hardware and carrier partners to get it tested and approved. In other words, while Microsoft appears to be getting things ready, some of the carriers may hold things up a bit. Regardless though, we will be hoping for the best. With that, those waiting for Windows Phone 7.8 to arrive, some of the goodies include resizable Live Tiles, double the number of theme and accent colors, new lock screen features, a password/pin challenge to help prevent accidental device wipes and more.
