With Apple’s iPhone 5 technically available for around two months already, one might think that the initial level of enthusiasm should be dropping by now. And while that’s partly true, you can’t really say sales are down when Apple is just now overcoming supply issues.
You know what we’re talking about, the issues that always lead to huge lines being formed in front of Apple retail stores around the time of a new launch and that make waiting for gadgets ordered online to reach weeks or even months.
Now, according to Apple Insider, you can simply waltz in a brick-and-mortar store and, in 9 out of 10 cases, you’ll find an iPhone 5 in stock and waiting for you. Online, things are still a little tricky, but you’ll definitely not have to wait more than a week to get your shiny new phone on your doorstep. Now let’s just see how everything plays out during the holiday shopping season, when you know things are going to get crowded.
