C Spire Wireless has become the latest US based carrier to announce a shared data offering. These new plans will be available beginning on December 3 and similar to competitor offerings, up to 10 devices will be able to share from a single pool. This includes smartphones and tablets as well as “other connected devices” and feature phones.

The C Spire Wireless shared data plans all include unlimited talk, text and picture messaging as well as video streaming and mobile hotspot. The data prices begin at $50 per month for 1GB and climb to $150 per month for 20GB. Aside from the data prices, smartphones will be $40 per month and feature phones will be $30 per month with tablet and modems coming in at $20 per month.

Otherwise, C Spire will monitor your usage throughout the month and let you know when you are about to go over. From this point you will be able to “top up” you allowance by purchasing a pass. The pass pricing begins at $10 for 500MB and goes up to $75 for 5GB.

That said, these plans all kick in on December 3 and at that time, they will be available for new and existing customers.
