Limited to only a fistful of Android users a few weeks ago, Jelly Bean is finally starting to make its mark around town. While we’re still not talking about Android 4.2 Jelly Bean rolling out to devices right and left, 4.1 is definitely on a roll.

The latest device to get “buttered” up by the tasty new OS is Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, a 10-inch slate that hasn’t exactly been on many shopping lists. Released back in May with Ice Cream Sandwich sprinkles and a run of the mill spec sheet, this has been living in the shadow of Apple’s iPads all along.

And while we wouldn’t go as far as to say the Tab 2 is now more appealing than the iPads, it’s definitely going to give you more thrills than before. Unfortunately, if you’re residing outside the UK, the 4.1 update might still be out of bounds for you.

Worry not though, because that’s just how these things work – they start off slow, but spread really, really fast.
