It has finally happened folks. Today, T-Mobile USA parent company Deutsche Telekom announced it has reached an agreement with Apple to sell its products in 2013. T-Mobile is the last major carrier in the United States to secure selling agreements with Apple.
The press release didn’t specify if T-Mobile will also sell the iPad, but that’s a likely scenario. T-Mobile is also planning on rolling out its new LTE network in 2013. If everything works out, T-Mobile will step up its presence in the market with a LTE-equipped iPhone.
This move is sure to keep T-Mobile customers from jumping ship to other carriers. Provided T-Mobile doesn’t change its contract plans, T-Mobile will be one of two carriers to offer the iPhone with an unlimited data plan.
