The Asus VivoTab and VivoTab RT Windows tablets haven’t had a lot of time to make a real impact on the market but we can guess they’ve been at least partly successful. Otherwise, Asus wouldn’t already be preparing their successor, which it is.
The VivoTab K0X is mostly covered in mystery, but after getting both NCC approval in Taiwan and FCC certification in the States, it’s bound to be coming soon. As a matter of fact, sources say the tab will surely be on display at CES 2013 in January, which would mean a release before spring is not out of the question.
So, what do we know about the K0X so far? It’ll be running Windows 8 and that’s a fact. It will also feature Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and NFC, but that’s no shocker. Finally, based on some leaked images, it will come in a classic black-and-white color scheme while sporting a display of 10 or maybe 11.6 inches. That’s all for now, but expect a lot more to surface over the next few weeks.
