It’s been pretty hard lately to keep track of all the different models in HTC’s One line of smartphones but if you thought you got them covered here’s one more – the One SV. Although technically it’s not a new device (it has hit Australia and Singapore in November), the SV is just now garnering serious media attention, as it’s been announced for release to the UK.
British folks should be able to buy this one starting in a “few weeks”, while other European countries will probably get it in January. No words on pricing yet, but the SV is an LTE-enabled phone, so at least in GB that means it’ll be coming to EE and it’ll probably be free, albeit with some steep data plans.
Besides LTE, the SV doesn’t have much against its “cousin”, the One S. It’s more the other way around actually, with the SV sporting the worse screen out of the two (800 x 480 pix res 4.3-incher). Other features include Android 4.0 ICS, a dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon S4 CPU, Beats Audio, a 5 MP camera, microSD support, NFC, and a replaceable 1,800 mAh battery.
