Samsung has made a splash this year with the Galaxy S3 and Note 2, two of the most sold smartphones around and the future looks even brighter for the Koreans, if we are to trust the latest rumors. Both the S4 and Note 3 are said to be in the works already and they’re looking more and more exciting by the day.
According to a Korea Times report, the Note 3, who’s just now beginning its rumor rounds, will be sporting… please make sure you’re sitting down… a 6.3-inch OLED display. That’s 0.8 inches more than the Note 2, a whole inch extra compared with the first-gen Note and pure and simple madness. This is no longer a “phablet”, folks, and you’ll definitely need some humongous pockets to keep it leashed.
As for the S4, we don’t have something as juicy to report, but an unveiling at the MWC 2013 in February is now almost a certainty. That means the new super-phone would start selling sometime in late March or early April, so forget about the S family’s one-year manufacturing cycle (the S3 was released in May 2012).
