The Kingston Wi-Drive has helped me avoid a lot of frustrations with the 8GB Nexus 7. It’s very convenient to have a pocket-sized storage device that can connect to multiple devices without needing an internet connection. I found 16GB to be sufficient for my collection of videos, but some people demand more. That’s why Kingston decided to sell a new Wi-Drive with 128GB of internal storage.

This Wi-Drive functions exactly like its 16GB, 32GB and 64GB counterparts. You load it with media such as videos and music from a computer just like a flash drive. The Wi-Drive iOS and Android application connects to the Wi-Drive and beams content to your device wirelessly. It’s a relatively painless process, and you also set the app up to connect to a wireless router and the Wi-Drive at the same time.

The only problem with the 128GB Wi-Drive is the price. A seller from Amazon (that Kingston linked to), is selling them for $176.65. Kingston is selling it directly for $273.00. As much as I like the Wi-Drive, that’s way too expensive. Kingston has to drop the price if it intends on selling a decent number of these.
