Uploading videos to YouTube from mobile devices isn’t the hardest thing in the world to do, but it does require performing a few different steps. For example, you have to open the camera app, record the video, open the YouTube app and commence the upload. For iOS users, those steps are now a thing of the past. The YouTube Capture app is now available to download for free. It acts as a one-stop-shop for YouTube video capturing, editing and sharing on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
You’ll need to have a Google account (and thus a YouTube account) to use this application. This step is essential for uploading videos quickly. YouTube Capture also has some editing features that you can use to make some adjustments to your video’s color and stabilization. Basic video trimming functionality is also built in alongside a collection of songs that you can add to your videos royalty free.
Android users don’t have this functionality yet, but Google is working on it. A release window for YouTube Capture for Android was not given.
