Calling all jet-setters — online travel resource, Expedia has just extended their app to Windows 8 platforms. Now available in the Windows store, Expedia users will have access to over 140,000 hotels and mobile exclusive deals up to 60 percent off. Deals are updated in real time.

Book hotels in an instant. Expedia is one of the only apps featured in the Windows store that offers mobile-exclusive deals for consumers. By doing so, users can rack up Expedia Rewards points, which can be redeemed later on flight and hotel bookings through the service, without blackout dates.

“Expedia wanted to build a unique app for Windows 8 users. We invested in an immerse, inviting and fun experience leveraging the native capabilities of the new Windows operating system,” said John Kim, Senior VP, Global Product, Expedia. “We also wanted to differentiate ourselves from other apps in the Window 8 marketplace. With exclusive mobile deals, verified reviews and real-time availability counts, the Expedia app provides the best way to book the best hotel on your trip.”

Out now for all operating systems, be sure to look no further than your smart device next time you need to book a hotel on the go.
